My journey in childcare began long before I ever imagined becoming a consultant.It started with a simple calling, a deep desire to create a safe, nurturing place where children could learn, grow, and feel that they belong.

As the founder of Start My Daycare and Little Montessori Learning Community, I bring over a decade of experience in the childcare industry. I have walked this path from multiple perspectives from an Early Childhood Educator, to a daycare supervisor, then running my own home daycare, and eventually growing into operating a childcare facility.

Each stage of this journey came with its own challenges, lessons, and victories. I know firsthand what it feels like to navigate licensing requirements, build trust with families, create meaningful programs, and carry the responsibility of caring for children and leading a business.

What began as a passion grew into a mission, to help others do the same. We need more daycares. Whether it be home daycare on childcare centres. Start My Daycare was created to support aspiring and current childcare owners who feel called to open their own programs but may not know where to start. My goal is to provide guidance, clarity, and encouragement so you can build a daycare that is not only compliant, but purposeful and thriving.
